Joshua Hall, who was granted bail for a robbery charge on November twenty-fifth, had been diligently signing in at the police station three times a week. However, his sister Aiyana Hall mentioned that there’s no footage of him leaving the station, and no one was home to confirm his return that morning since everyone had left after he did. The family searched surrounding villages and areas for Joshua but with no success. Aiyana also alleged that some members of the Belize Police Department have threatened to harm her brother. She is appealing to residents with cameras near the police station to review their footage from Monday to see if they captured Joshua. Today, Aiyana, told News Five that the Corozal police have checked their cameras but have found nothing so far.

“We just sat down with the commanding officer in Corozal, which is Mr. Carcamo, to update us on what they’re doing because so far we haven’t felt like they have been assisting us. We were told that they have checked certain cameras and they haven’t seen anything. So I asked because at this point, we are suspecting anyone. No one can tell us when they last saw him and the last known location was the police station because he signed in. So, we’re looking at our angles and I explained this to the commanding officer this morning. I told him we need to look at everything at this point, and he says that they are trying to clarify that he did leave the station. The cameras in the station aren’t working. So, so far, they haven’t found anything that shows him on any cameras that they have received footage of. He says that there are two cameras left to check, um, and they will get back to us.”
The family of 43-year-old Silvia Carolina Sandoval is desperately seeking information on her whereabouts after she went missing on November 8. Sandoval, a resident of Valley Community at Mile 21 on the Hummingbird Highway, was last seen at her mother’s house. She was last seen in the company of an unknown man, according to her daughter, 20-year-old Daniela Lucero.
Lucero told News 5 that all attempts to contact her mother have failed. She said, “We call her…we try her on Facebook…on WhatsApp and with friends,” and that, “when we call it goes to voicemail.”
The situation has left the family deeply concerned. “This is the first time she has ever gone missing,” Lucero explained. “She always keeps in contact with us, so we’re really worried.” When we asked her if the family fears that Sandoval might be in danger, Lucero said, “Well since we don’t know the man she was with and since she gone we haven’t have contact with her.”
The family has already filed a missing person’s report at the Dangriga Police Station, but so far, there has been no word on Sandoval’s location. The family is appealing to the public for assistance.
Anyone with information about Silvia Carolina Sandoval’s whereabouts is urged to contact the nearest police station or reach out to family members directly at +501 638-1755.

“Have you spoken to that person here in Belmopan?”
Hilberto Romero
“Yes several statements have been recorded. Searches continue, but so far, nothing.”
Currently, there is no motive for the duo’s disappearance, their family maintains that no one in their life has any reason to cause them harm. Alonzo also stressed that Raymundo would never willingly abandon his family.
Voice of Rose Alonzo
“Juan Raymundo would never leave his kids alone. He knew that they have their mothers, but he would never, ever leave his kids fending for their selves. Or, he would always take care of his kids, always think about his kids. Anything would happen and maybe his kids get hurt. He would find a way to be there for his kids economically and present. He would call his kids. He would visit his kids. My son, personally, he would visit every single day. There wouldn’t be one day when he doesn’t ask for daddy and daddy doesn’t come to see him or call him. So no, that is very not even in my mind, in no way, because he would not leave his kids.”
There is no word on their possible whereabouts. If anyone has information that can be used to locate either of them, they are encouraged to contact Rosa on 628-7016. Britney Gordon for News Five.
