Earlier this month, at the start of our Belize on Reel feature on conservation efforts across the country, we looked at Crooked Tree and its importance as a Ramsar Site. The protected area is made up of over fourteen thousand acres of waterways, logwood swamps and lagoon. It also provides a habitat for over three hundred species of resident and migratory birds.
