Super Furia Band Founder Passes
Super Furia Band announced the passing of its founder, Francisco Alcoser Sr. The group posted on its Facebook page, “It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Mr. Francisco Alcoser Sr., founder of the Super Furia Band. We are asking for prayers for the family and some privacy for the family at this time! We will announce funeral announcements soon. Rest in peace, Pancho.”
Alcoser Sr. was undergoing chemotherapy. In early September the family shared that he had “been going through some serious trauma and pain as a result of a fractured spine.” Which has caused him to be bedridden while undergoing ongoing medical treatment in Mexico, after several referrals because the pain trauma was not going away, he was referred to an oncologist surgeon at the cancer detection and treatment centre in Mexico, where he was immediately attended to and various tests were done. Presently, the family is awaiting a panendoscopy and a biopsy; the results should come back on September 4th from Mexico City. We regret to inform you, our friends, that a tumour was detected.’
