Moses “Shyne” Barrow Announces Candidates for General Election 2025
United Democratic Party’s Moses “Shyne” Barrow has officially kicked off his campaign for the upcoming general elections on March 12, 2025. Today, his faction unveiled a slate of 30 candidates at the UDP headquarters on Youth For The Future Drive in Belize City, alongside the release of the party’s “U Deserve Better UDP Manifesto.”
The Barrow-led UDP’s campaign is centred around key issues such as higher wages, a lower cost of living, improved housing, and an overall higher quality of life for Belizeans.
The party did not field a candidate in Corozal Bay. According to Barrow, the party will be supporting former Area Representative Elvia Vega-Samos, an independent candidate. Vega-Samos is currently running as an independent candidate.
