Channel 5 Belize aims to enhance and strengthen the community we serve through our coverage, business practices, and charitable giving. We look to contribute and make an impact with our available resources and be as inclusive as possible.
The following is a list of our general guidelines and policies:
- Channel 5 provides assistance through public service announcements (PSAs).
- The organizations seeking support should be non-profit, non-governmental or charitable. If the PSA is advertising a fundraising event, the proceeds from the event must benefit a local charitable organization.
- Events must be open to the public and appeal to a large portion of the community.
- Support does not include news or editorial coverage. That is at the sole discretion of our newsroom.
- The airings we provide for community relations projects are run on a space-available basis.
- Please submit your request to news@channel5belize.com at least three (3) weeks before your deadline or event.
*Due to the high demand for advertising space, Channel 5 cannot accept every request. If a proposal is not accepted, you’re encouraged to contact our sales team for information on NGO packages and rates that may be available.
