The chairman of the United Democratic Party, Mike Peyrefitte, has become a divisive figure amid the internal turmoil that has crippled the organization. The Alliance for Democracy has repeatedly voiced their frustration with Peyrefitte, citing unanswered letters and criticizing his dismissive and often authoritarian decision-making style.
