The teachers were placed on administrative leave after organizing a meeting with parents to discuss graduation plans, defying the administration’s orders. The protesting parents demanded the teachers’ reinstatement, arguing that the teachers were defending their rights to be involved in the graduation planning process. Initially, the school declined to comment on the matter. However, in a letter issued to parents and guardians today, the school explained that the decision to place the teachers on leave was due to repeated instances of professional misconduct. The letter assured parents that the school’s priority remains the safety, academic development, and holistic well-being of students, and that steps are being taken to ensure minimal disruption to the quality of education during this period.
