Post-mortem in prisoner?s death is inconclusive

In other police updates, a post-mortem on the body of David Gallego has proved inconclusive. Gallego died in his cell at the Ladyville police station early Tuesday morning where he had been detained for handling stolen goods. According to the police press officer, G. Michael Reid, pathologist Dr. Hugh Sanchez found no signs of violence but will conduct further tests to pinpoint a cause of death.

And with regard to Raymond Elijio, the sixty-seven year old Placencia man missing at sea, police report no progress in search and rescue efforts. Elijio was with two other men en route to Gladden Caye when he presumably fell out of the thirty-two foot vessel on Friday.
