On Sunday unknown persons entered the home of P.U.P. Area Representative for Cayo South Julius Espat, in Belize City. Espat told News Five on Monday that despite the presence of money and other valuables, only two laptops and his debate speech were stolen from his personal office. While burglaries are commonplace and common folk are victims every day, add politics and politicians to the mix and it’s a horse of a totally different color. And that’s why Julius Espat is casting some scrutiny at his neighbor, U.D.P. Area Representative Mark King. But today, King rebutted those aspersions, saying that far from being responsible for the larceny, he is in fact assisting the Police in finding the culprits.

“My good neighbor, the member from Cayo South, Mister Speaker and I said no comment. I got an email from the police in the area last night and I was about to assist them with video to see if we can try to retrieve his laptop. It always says God said to be good to your neighbor and I’ll try to be very nice to him today; I won’t steal from him the way he steal the judge’s house. And the prime minister explained that many times to him. But Mister Speaker, worst of all, I allow him to use my dock to carry out his luxurious boat to the island—again they say somehow he got inappropriately. I call him when his alarm goes off and he has the audacity Mister Speaker—we are very tight—and he has the audacity Mister Speaker to say that when he wakes up every day and he sees my house and knows that I live there, he is sad. Well Mister Speaker I am sorry, he is going to have to be sad for the rest of his life because Mister Speaker, he is a P.U.P. and when I wake up I am happy he is in front of me because I see what he does, I know what he does, I know where he goes and I know every single thing about him. But Mister Speaker let me tell you that I am currently assisting the police to give him his video to see who stole from him. Let me also tell you Mister Speaker, he claims he knows about Apple devices, well he could have turned on the feature, Find My Device. It is as simple as that. You don’t need to be an architect to find your device; Apple will find that for you.”

These are grown men who have a responsibility of watching over a country and fighting like children. Why would King keep such close eye on Espat? To watch the activity of another man so closely is stalking as far as I am concerned. I would not vote for this King person, he is a jack@#s.
