An international fugitive, wanted for human trafficking, is caught in Belize

Blanca Garay Rodriguez

A Honduran woman is the latest international fugitive to be caught in Belize.  Forty year old Blanca Garay Rodriguez was on the run since early January; she was picked up at around eleven thirty in the morning at house at the Mile eight community on the George Price Highway. Rodriguez’s detention is considered major bust because it is believed she is the missing link in a smuggling ring originating from Honduras. While she is in violation of her visitor’s permit, Rodriguez is facing far more serious offences….human trafficking charges in Honduras. But today, she was taken to the Belize City Magistrate’s Court by Immigration Personnel to answer to one immigration offense. The records show that she entered Belize legally on January seventh on a three week permit which expired on January twenty-eighth and was not extended so Rodriguez was charged with Failure to Comply with a Visitor’s Permit. Immigration personnel had reportedly been tracking her and moved in when it was confirmed that she was wanted in Honduras.  Today in court, Rodriguez, who speaks little English, was provided with a translator and she wasted no time in pleading guilty to the offense when she appeared before Magistrate Leslie Hamilton. Rodriguez was fined one thousand dollars which she was ordered to immediately or face six months in prison.  A removal order requested by the Immigration Department was granted and with assistance from Interpol, Rodriguez is expected to be sent back home as early as Friday.  It is believed that during her stay in Belize, she was lying low because she knew she was wanted.

  1. Geez! says:

Blanca Rodriguez, a little known Human Trafficker was laying low while Elvin Penner, the world’s favorite Human Trafficker, raises his head high above the crowd sipping tea in Belize’s House of Representatives after the rape of poor people from Cayo Northeast who gave him their trust as Area Representative. Thanks Honduras, USA, EU, OAS, UN, Taiwan, for jailing the poor traffickers and letting the rich ones rule us dumb folks!!

And to the USA, EU, OAS, UN, Taiwan, OPEN you eyes, we are watching all of you !!!
What about your ILLEGAL Chines population that you have HERE right now in Belize working as SLAVES at all the Chines stores?
    REPLY !!!

Penner and “Clear the Land” both has money, influence! and a blatant disregard for what is correct. What’s worse is they both are cloaked and shielded by the PM.

  4. Ali BaBarrow and his band of 40+ says:

Pay Ali or the Admiral directly, then you are good to go like Mello.
You do not have a murder charge against you, should be cheaper than Mello.

There will be an extra fee to expedite your purchase.
Just don’t go through any other of the 39 thieves, only Ali or the admiral.
Definitely don’t talk to Penner, he is still in the dog house, not too busy these days, but useless.

If you could throw in a booty call for Castro, he might get you to the front of the line with Ali, not the Admiral.

Be sure to get the professional thief discount, saves 10%.
Gang affiliation in Honduras gets another 5%.

  5. LOL says:

We have bigger human traffickers in government.
