Is there another case of swine flu up north?

Another suspected case of H-one N-one, Influenza A virus, has been reported in the north.  While it remains to be confirmed by the Ministry of Health, News Five understands that a resident of Paraiso Village, who was reportedly diagnosed with swine flu in Mexico, succumbed to the illness recently.  That information, we are told, has not been entered into the ministry’s database since the diagnosis, treatment and subsequent passing of the victim took place in Chetumal, Quintana Roo.  In speaking with the family earlier today, they said that a confirmation to determine the cause of death is pending.  Despite exhibiting flu-like symptoms, the family has not learned conclusively that their loved one died of the pandemic strain of influenza.  Thus far there have been three confirmed cases of H-one N-one in Belize.  One person has died as a result of the virus.
