Ryan Gillett charged with attempted murder of Boom resident

A man from Burrell Boom has been charged for the shooting of another Boom resident. Adrian Myvette was shot at the entrance of the horse track in Burrell Boom over the weekend and today, twenty-four year old Ryan Gillett, a wine maker and caterer, was charged with attempted murder, dangerous harm and use of deadly means of harm upon Myvette. Gillett was denied bail and remanded to the Belize Central Prison until February nineteenth, 2014 when he appeared before Senior Magistrate, Sharon Frazer. Just before midnight on Saturday, Myvette was riding his bicycle when he was approached by another man and shot at several times. He was injured on the chest and abdomen. Eight expended shells were found at the scene of the crime. Myvette is in critical condition.

    The thing I hate about these young shooters is that they don’t shoot the right ppl. Whenever the public start using the guns on the prime ministers and other government official who is running the country into the ground and robbing the public of pride and dignity. A lot would change because these moral and heartless ministers will know there is a consequence when u take offices for the wrong reason. Big up to all the country where there citizens takes a stand.
