Penner says he is to meet with PM early next week

Edmund “Clear the Land” Castro now shares the corruption spotlight with Elvin Penner, his comrade in the immigration shenanigans. Penner came back into the country from Guatemala on Sunday. He has been asked to resign from the U.D.P., but all indications are that he has not made up his mind. Today, News Five contacted Penner, who told us that he will meet with his executive committee early next week. Penner says he will also meet with the Prime Minister early next week. But pending those meetings, Penner told us that he has been meeting with many of his people, and he says that he has received nothing but overwhelming support. Penner has avoided the press since the scandal broke, but told News Five today that he will speak when he comes to a decision on the resignation issue on the table.

  1. UDP operates GOB as a stench says:

    yes Penner is the dog.
Barrow beware him, he will bite you and your crimbinet.
    looks good behind bars.

and now it is all unravelling. your criminal enterprise, your fellow conspirators are about to turn into the tommy goffs and rats they are.

what kind of leverage can be put on Penner?
he is probably worried about prison.

BUT—having all his personal property taken away so his family is on the street while he sits in Hattieville will get him talking. yes take all his ill gotten goods away, throw in $$$ penalties for EACH sale, running into the 1000′s

Don’t forget tax penalties on all those passports, sure he did not pay on that.
tax penalties is what put Al Capone permanently in a 6×8 prison cell till he died.

Anyone started that? VIP, PNP, here is your chance to get market share after UDP is banned.
PUP can’t be the only one left standing, their hands are not clean. People need an alternative to corruption. Are you real political organizations? or just paper tigers?

  3. Plawchuca says:

Get used to being behind those bars Penner. Its not gonna be much different soon.

  4. Guerra says:

The people of Cayo North East is not Penner’s people. We voted for him on the grounds that he would do work in this constituency, but the man was so busy helping himself that he had no time to serve us. All of a sudden, when his greed got the better of him, we have become his people.

Well, we are not! Haven’t seen or heard the man from he got elected, and now he is in hibernation. We knew we wanted an honest minister, but instead we elected a crook. Not that the others are any better, because they all have their hands in the cookie jar! All of them who said they didn’t know anything about visa scandal, have been pocketing $$$$$$$$ big time, while trump change go into government coffers. These are the kind of people we elected, but they turn out to be no different than common thieves, only on a MUCH LARGE SCALE. They know that they have enough money to pay lawyers to TWART their punishment.

  5. Belizean Pride says:

why hasn’t the pm taken seriously to penner and not castro who has a record of more wrong doing than penner. Is it some kind of favoritism, racial favoritism? why isn’t mark king fired when he made a scandal when he had a brawl at the casino? I ain’t on none of these people but looking at it something seems more racial to me than just politics. Hopefully all this things come to conclusion cause we’re being laughed at internationally for all these things going on with a pm that can’t even control his gov.
