Where are the Romero siblings?

Tonight there is not much new to report on the disappearance of siblings Fanny and Jairo Romero from the village of Cowpen in southern Belize. Last week Wednesday they were abducted from the village by a woman who allegedly handed them over to their maternal grandfather, Juan Jovel. At least, that’s what a preliminary investigation by Independence Police has turned up. The last confirmed sighting of Jovel and the two children was on Thursday in Cowpen, when villagers say they saw the elderly man walking with Fanny and Jairo. Today Police were told that the trio was sighted in the village of Pomona, but up to news time that could not be verified. The family believes that Jovel intends to take the children to the US, since he has allegedly long threatened to do so.
