The last Jaguar boards flight

Chris Gilharry

So while the team utilized the weekend and today for practice, the final Jaguar is en-route as I speak to Portland, Oregon. The replacement player for Elroy Kuylen did not get the ceremonious send off as the team commanded on Friday, but News Five gave support and spoke to the last Jaguar, Chris Gilharry moments before his flight.

Chris Gilharry, Replacing Elroy Kuylen on Jaguars

“Dah noh wah surprise because usually yo go and yo could say this dah mi the first time I woulda mi missed wah national team, but I guess every coach have their different opinion. I just had patience. I saw the opportunity to come back again and I’m glad.”

Jose Sanchez

“I know there was disappointment, but now we are looking forward to you going there. This flight may take you up…you won’t have any practice time. How are you going to make the transition for tomorrow?”

Chris Gilharry

“By reaching there late and not having time to practice, I will think I noh might play the first game, but I think the coach might have different plans for me for the rest of games.”

Jose Sanchez

“What is it that you feel that you would bring to the team itself once you do get into the games?”

Chris Gilharry

“Well I know and the coach knows that I always have energy and with the same unity that we usually have because all the players were saying why Chris neva gone. So I think we will be more united.”
