Official report released on partially submerged plane in Corozal

Last Friday we reported that a small plane had plunged into the Pueblo Nuevo Lagoon which is located on the outskirts of Corozal Town. The plane was belly-up and partially submerged in the water, but it wasn’t until today that an official release was sent to the media. Police say that the plane was found at two p.m. on Friday, but reports are that it went down days before.  The release confirms that the plane is a CESSNA model with markings XB-LGX. The specific location is given as one mile south of the Pueblo Viejo ferry and about a mile and a half west of the New River. The plane was stripped clean and nothing or nobody was found in or near it. Unofficial reports to us say that recently there has been unusual financial activity in villages near where the plane went down. While speculation naturally points to drug trafficking, the official report doesn’t even mention the word drugs.

The police had to get rid of the evidence and the trail before they made an official release.

Just check the local bars in that town to see who is spending a lot of money.

Maybe it was taking a few cardinals to the conclave!

So let’s analize this incident: the plane was stripped, there are no official flight log, no one was found near the plain, no one filled a report of a plane crash, I wonder could it be drug related?
