Farrakhan touches hearts at prison

Minister Louis Farrakhan made a big splash in the communities that he visited over the course of this week. This evening, he will be addressing a public forum at Bird’s Isle to conclude his visit to Belize. On his third trip to Belize, seventy-nine year old Farrakhan has made a great impression on the lives of those he touched. On Thursday, the leader of the Nation of Islam visited the Belize Central Prison where he spoke to the incarcerated men and women who are supervised by the Kolbe Foundation. At the end of his presentation, a female inmate came forward to speak about the circumstances in which she killed her husband. It was a touching moment in which Farrakhan called her to stand by his side and offered his support.

“Do you have children from that man?”

“No sir.”

“Did you have children?”

“Yes Sir.”

“What happened that you felt the need to kill him?”

“Before everyone in here; I know what I have done and god knows it! That he has done something he shouldn’t have done! He raped the child! We raised together from eighth months. Come on, we raised that child as our own. What gives him the right to touch her?”

Louis Farrakhan

“Sister, come come. When a man violates a child or a woman and takes from her what she does not wish to give. In our world that is punishable by death. She is going back to court this month for her appeal. I pray that god will touch the heart of any judge that hears her cry. The nature of the female is to protect, defend and give her life for the protection of her children. May I know who the judge is and I will write a letter to the judge on your behalf and may God bless you and bring you back home to your children. It is my honor to meet you. I heard you loud and clear, thank you.”

That’s her side of the story. To hear inmates talk, there’s not a single guilty person in prison. I wonder what the real facts are? Personally, I would find that out before writing any letter to a judge for a stranger. Otherwise, he’s just pandering to the audience, not acting like a man interested in truth or justice.

At least Minister Farrakan will get to see first hand that our cointry laws are not here to protect the innocent, but to give leverage to the criminals of all sorts
