Second suspect in execution killing arrested

Story PictureThe second suspect in Monday’s execution style killing has been arrested and charged. He is twenty year old Brandon Tillett. Tillett and twenty-one year old James Escarpeta now stand jointly accused of murder, attempted murder and use of deadly means of harm in connection with the death of Kevin Parks and injuries to Parks’ uncle Charles Moss and another man, Jose Pech. Around two on Monday afternoon, Parks was gunned down on Euphrates Avenue by two gunmen. When Moss went to help his nephew he was shot in the upper back. Pech, a resident in the area, later reported that he too had been sought out and shot by the same gunmen. Both Escarpeta and Tillett have been remanded to Hattieville Prison until December twenty-second.
