?The whole idea behind it is to promote Belize in its multicultural way of life. We have presentations from groups up north, from the San Narciso group, we have Miss Leela Vernon here with us and unfortunately we couldn?t get the Chinese to present to us. We also have the Garifuna culture being highlighted, the drumming and the dancing. We also have the foods that we will be sampling and be offering to our students.?

Musical artist Leela Vernon was special guest at this year?s event.

As part of the day?s objective, the A.C.C. students were allowed to wear cultural dresses to school.

A.C.C. has been hosting its Cultural Day for over sixteen years.
