Police following leads of sexual assault in village

On Monday’s newscast, we told you about a home invasion in Boston Village off the old Northern Highway on Sunday night. Police have been close-mouthed about the case; releasing no names and no details. Today we spoke to Assistant Superintendent of Police Christopher Noble, who is the Rural Executive Officer. He told us that they have been investigating the incident since Sunday night and are following several leads.

“We did receive reports of an aggravated burglary in that area; several persons at a residence were assaulted. Personal effects were taken and we are looking into that report. That report has been followed with proper checks of the scene; proper dealing with statements and we’ve been revisiting and checking on persons of interest in the area.”

News Five has learnt that seven persons were in the home when three armed masked men entered armed with pistols and that at least one of the females in the group was sexually assaulted. The men in the house were pistol whipped, before the assailants made off with passports, money, laptops and cell phones. According to Noble there are several persons of interest in the case, and more details will be released as the investigation merits.

Sex crimes can be solved indisputably with DNA evidence. Take some samples from the suspects, and lock up the ones that match the evidence., And castrate them before they rape again!
