Busted burying crack cocaine
Before noon on Sunday, Corozal police were in Calcutta village to carry out an anti-drug operation. When police arrived at the house of thirty-two year old Donovan Tillett, they found him with a shovel in hand and acting suspiciously. Donovan quickly placed the shovel down and police found nothing incriminating on him. They then turned their attention on a freshly dug area where they uncovered a transparent container with four parcels of suspected cocaine wrapped in aluminum foil. In another area of the yard, police dug out a transparent plastic bag that contained three parcels similarly wrapped in foil and containing suspected crack cocaine. Donovan was then escorted to the house where a search came up empty-handed. At the time, sixty year old Gilbert Tillett, who is the owner of the house, and a fourteen year old minor were present. All three were escorted to the Corozal station where Donovan and Gilbert were charged for drug trafficking.
Great work, police! Keep it up!
