Masseuse Kevin Lee accused of inappropriate touching

Kevin Lee

The trial of massage therapist Kevin Lee is taking place before Senior Magistrate Sharon Frazer.  Lee is before the court for allegations that he inappropriately groped a client on separate occasions while administering a massage.  Director of Public Prosecutions Cheryl-Lynn Vidal charges that Lee touched the woman on her breasts, buttocks, as well as her private parts during a therapy session on April sixth, 2011.  With the assistance of a translator Lee, also known as Kin Li, gave a sworn testimony during which he told the court that he is familiar with the woman because she had visited his parlor on two occasions.  According to Lee, he did not physically come in contact with the woman since the massage she received was done by a machine.  His attorney, Alifah Elrington-Hyde, later introduced two key pieces of evidence which she believes will prove Lee’s innocence.  A yellow notebook and a receipt book were both tendered as evidence.  Both records show that the woman, whose first name appeared in the books, had hired Lee’s services.  Those records would later come under question from the DPP since a search of his premises, conducted by police in 2011, did not yield the documents.  The case has been adjourned to January eighteenth.
