Stealing from the Police Commissioner’s farm

Lincoln Kent Crawford

Crime seems to have no bounds and over the weekend, the Commissioner of Police was targeted by a robber. According to reports, sometime around nine a.m. on Saturday, November third, David Henderson reported to police that on that same seventy-nine plantains were stolen from his farm. And today, Santana villager, Lincoln Kent Crawford, appeared before Chief Magistrate Anne Marie Smith and pleaded guilty to stealing the plantains.  Crawford was fined two hundred dollars for stealing the plantains valued at nineteen dollars and seventy-five cents.  Crawford was instructed to pay one hundred dollars now or in default would spend three months behind bars. The balance is to be paid by February twenty-eighth 2013.

By the way we survive Sandy here in NY, but Sandy had nothing over Mitch! If Sandy was only Mitch cousin we would be like New Orleans when Katrina moved in! Please say your prayers for some of our Belizean people who lived in Far Rockaway, NY. Some of them lost everything, but thanks to God they are alive.

  7. Pedro Dolmo says:

There is no thief that is greater than than the other and I believe that all should be penalized. The P.M. is not to be blamed for crimes committed. Therefore there is no need for criticism caused we are all made in our own unique ways that it is pleasing to God.
