2 Mexican nationals in chilling home invasion up north

Two Mexican nationals bearing police credentials are in custody tonight up north. The duo was apprehended after a chilling home invasion in the village of Chunox where a fisherman and his family were assaulted. Julius Foreman is hospitalized at the Corozal Hospital tonight and his wife and children are traumatized by the horrible ordeal. From what we have learnt, the Mexicans were demanding money but there may be more than meets the eye. Duane Moody was up in Chunox today and has the following report.

Duane Moody, Reporting

Just before eight on Tuesday night, fisherman Julius Foreman, his common-law-wife, Darlene Cabral and their two children arrived at their home in Chunox Village, twelve miles and two ferry crossings outside of Corozal Town when they were accosted by at least two men. The assailants, identified as Mexican police officers were spotted earlier that day in the village in this abandoned white Nissan car without license plates. Both men followed the family to their home where they beat Foreman to a pulp and assaulted Cabral and the children holding them at gunpoint. The Mexicans demanded cash, threatening the lives of the family. Several shots were fired, which alerted neighbors who called for help. Not getting what they were looking for, the men then escaped in Foreman’s 2005 Chevy truck, valued at over fifteen thousand dollars. Also taken were several cell phones, an iPod and other items. The vehicle was intercepted by Corozal police at one of the ferries and it is believed that the men escaped to the nearby bushes evading the cops. They were later apprehended; one in Corozal Town and the other on the Philip Goldson Highway walking towards the Santa Elena border. An injured Foreman was rushed to the Corozal Community Hospital where he is admitted in stable condition. Police are currently conducting investigations into the home invasion and what precisely were the Mexican police looking for? Duane Moody for News Five.

Run Belizeans run. The Mexican drug cartels and its cohorts have their eyes on Belize. Our sovereignity is a joke. Mexican and Central American nationals move around our country as they so desire.

Try walking into Honduras, Mexico or any other Latin country as you so desire, your black Belizean @$$ will land in the slammer. Once in the slammer, Latino men like dark meat, so your @$$ becomes feeding ground for all.

Wake up Belizeans. It is a wide, wide and real world out there.

Every time you think you have heard the worse something else comes up. This wave of evil that has come upon this country is not natural. This is an evil that has been released over this country. The only way to break this evil is to start praying.

Please organize a day of prayer and march through the city and towns and villages and bind the devil from operating over this country and loose the power of God to drive out this evil spirit. Prayer is the only thing that will break this hold that Satan has on this country. Please do not pray to saints the truth is they can’t help you. The word of God says we are to pray in Jesus name to the Father. I am not putting any religion down, I am just saying what the Bible says.

The devil roams around seeking those whom he can kill and destroy, he is finding a lot of willing people whom he can use to do his dirty work, and he is using them. Start praying people. Pastors and Ministers God is waiting on you to lead your people to wage spiritual war against this evil thing.

Logic says this report has only scratched the surface, and more investigation is in order by police. The attack obviously was targeted, not random. What does a Belizean fisherman have that Mexican “police” want to go to great lengths to steal? My bet is this is a drug cartel related situation, start to finish.

Anyway, I hope the robbers are hammered HARD by our security forces and the court. Then maybe made available to the DEA for questioning.

1900 house and 2005 Chevy Truck! Where is Foreman’s priorities? How does his wife tolerate it? This smells strongly of drugs.
