Courts gives to customer

UNICOMER’s Courts Belize Limited is one of the country’s businesses that tries its best to give back to customers. Its recent promotion came in the form of two round trip tickets to London, including shopping money. News Five spoke to the winner and the company representative who says there are more giveaways to come in the future.

Gaylene Tesecum, Marketing Director, Unicomer

“At Courts, we always give back to our customers and when we do our prizes, we give back in a very big way. So a trip to London is a very enchanted, exciting destination for anybody and we said why not. We spoke to our partners at Delta and they were pleased enough to offer our customers a trip for two to London and we also gave them two thousand dollars cash.”

“I come from Guinea Grass. We bought a mattress and a microwave from Courts in Orange Walk. We filled out the raffle tickets and we put it in the box. It was a surprise for me yesterday. When I received the call, I felt very happy for having won this prize. it is the first time I am winning something from Courts. I’m not planning to travel now because I have a lot of work to do.”

Paul Hunt

Paul Hunt, Safari Services, Sales Agent for Delta

“Delta is very proud and pleased to be the feature provider of a prize for Courts. During the past summer, we’ve done it on more than one occasion now. So, Delta is very privileged to be providing an attractive prize to people who participate in the Courts promotion.”

Jose Sanchez

“What’s the value of the prize?”

Paul Hunt

“Well that’s a good question actually. It depends on when these winners will travel. Two tickets to London will probably be approaching a value of five thousand dollars. Like I said, it depends on when they request space for and so on.”

Jose Sanchez

“Okay, a lot of Belizeans then to more go to the United States. Could they switch that ticket to another destination?”

Paul Hunt

“I would think so. London is obviously a very attractive destination for many, but perhaps the winner may have plans to go see people or do something in the U.S.A. and I’m sure it could be modified for the U.S.A. or Canada destination; certainly.”

“Well of course we are going to look at other destinations as well. We had given one to Hawaii; that’s a pretty nice destination. So we are looking at different areas of the world that we can pass on these trips that customers may not think about travelling in their lifetime.”

Rod, i thought u were referring to Courts hahaha….because Courts have been doing the very same thing ripping off people with the prices they charge. Poor people pay twice as much for an item on a payment plan from Courts than if they payed upfront in cash…its a shame…i dont shop at Courts for that very same reason….
