Yvette Botes

“No I don’t know why he did that.”

The tragic incident was the result of a fight in front of Tommy Store between relatives: forty-two year old Wadencio Che, his son, twenty-two year old Luis Che, their cousin Manuel Hernandez and a man known only as Chivo Garcia. The Ches and Garcia were in a fight and then turned on Hernandez when he intervened. Garcia then allegedly found a machete and injured the Ches.

Anita Che

“Because he was defending Garcia. Three of them were on Garcia, killing Garcia—taking away his beers that he had buy from the Chinese man.”

Duane Moody

“So Manuel is related to the Che’s that were in a fight and he got in to part it and in that process, he was beaten?”

Anita Che

“Yes he was beaten by them because he was defending Garcia.”

Other reports claim the man Hernandez broke in with a machete to threaten — if that is so, and her death by heart attack resulted from that criminal act, I think DPP should look closely to see if manslaughter can be proved.

It sounds like too much alcohol, too much macho, and another unnecessary death too soon. Even if he is not charged, Hernandez has much to repent.

Excellent. Just excellent. This low life animalistic incident shows the world what we are producing as a nation…….. ignorancy, people with more bestial instincts than wild animals, and a nation of losers.

Sadly, they did not kill each other. Darn, what a crying shame. It would have made for better reading while enjoying a cup of Honduran coffee.
