Orange Walk man found dead

An Orange Walk man was found dead in a well on Monday at a farm in Petville, Orange Walk. Police have since learnt that fifty-four year old Salvadoran watchman, Jose Osmar Rivers de Paz, was last seen alive at around eight o’clock on Sunday night. He was drinking at Picame Bar in Orange Walk town and then decided to walk to his house in Petville. At around five p.m. the following day, Rivers’ body was found in a standing position, submerged in water inside the well, which is about nine yards deep. He had a small cut wound behind the head and a machete was found nearby. Police are awaiting the results of a postmortem examination and are currently treating the incident as a sudden death.

Yes, a machete can cause sudden death!

Are the police interviewing witnesses now, or just waiting for our good coroner to attempt to determine a cause of death? Generally, I have noticed over the years that if Dr. Estradabran did not personally witness a murder, he cannot figure out how a victim died.

Storm, you are funny. Sounds like they dropped him in the well with a crane because that is still a little deep for someone to be standing upright in the position he was in (drinking). Sorry sir, if you want to drink stay home & do it, Don’t get drunk at bars or you might not live to see another day, other people are always preying on others that are helpless.

Damn right gina! Its seems that this individual got drunk and fell inside the well and the cuts he got is due to the blows whilst falling in the well…
