Machete man chops Sho Family and kills one
Also in the south, an armed invasion in Punta Gorda Town has left one man dead and his wife and son hospitalized. In the early hours of Sunday morning, a man armed with a machete, gained entry through a glass window to a three storey-structure at Tropics Inn; a bed and breakfast in that municipality. Inside the building at the time were forty-nine year old Patricia Sho, her husband Pablo Sho and son, twenty-four year old Samuel Sho, all of whom received multiple chop wounds to the head and hands. The attacker later fled the scene. Sometime this morning, Pablo passed away while receiving treatment at the K.H.M.H. Police Press Officer, Inspector Fitzroy Yearwood, says police are following a lead.

“On the third June, 2012, Punta Gorda police visited an Inn about half mile from Punta Gorda Town itself on the Southern Highway where they saw Pablo Sho, Samuel Sho and a forty-nine year old female suffering from several chopped wounds. Pablo Sho had wounds to the head, neck and body. These persons were transported to the Southern Regional and then on to the K.H.M.H. where Pablo Sho succumbed to his injury and was pronounced dead on arrival.”

“Any arrests? Any motives?”
Insp. Fitzroy Yearwood
“Well our investigators have gathered so far that this family was asleep on the second floor of this establishment when a lone male person entered there wielding a machete causing these injuries. We know that the police are looking for someone that they say are known to them so hopefully we can make an arrest in this latest murder.”
The Sho Family is said to be the caretakers of the property, which is located about a quarter mile from the town. According to police, two other persons were inside the building at the time but they escaped unhurt.
