“Well, police visited the scene sometime around seven-forty one, but this child was transported to the KHMH from where she underwent surgery. This child, Rushina McFadzean, two years, was being ferried by her five year old brother to we believe, we call it baby sitter nuh. The school bus driven at the time by Mr. Fidel Lanza, Mr. Lanza accidentally hit this child and her right leg had to be amputated because of the condition that it was in. Unfortunately this child lost her battle a little after twelve right here undergoing surgery.”

Five year old TeJohn has tonight been released from the K.H.M.H.

why would a 5 year old child be taking a younger child to a day care? Come on mothers , Who to blame?

  2. Manuel Almendar says:

    What about NIP?

  3. CEO says:

Ms or Mr Dasilva before you get to vocal about the mother, keep in mind the rural setting were the incident happened. Perhaps all day only a few vehicles go by. The person to be blamed is the dam bus driver!

They way people drive in Belize is as if they have no sense; they seem to not have an extra 5 seconds to save their lives. If you are driving a bus or any vehicle for that matter and two young children on the road you need to allow enough space between you and them and drive with due caution and speed.
