Youth hospitalized after shooting in the Old Capital
It has been quiet on the city streets for days, but on Monday night violence flared up again. An eighteen year old Belize City student was shot and is hospitalized. Keshawn Goff and his girlfriend were riding on Welch Street shortly after seven p.m. when they were approached by a man near the junction with Gibnut Street. The person took out a gun and fired at Goff, hitting him on the right side of the abdomen. As an injured Goff tried to run away, the man attempted to shoot him a second time but the weapon malfunctioned. Goff was rushed to the KHMH where he is in stable condition; his girlfriend was not harmed in the incident. Police are looking for Fredrick Bernadez, also known as “Chanko”, a resident of Iguana Street, Belize City.
What a poor attempt at a hit….
That is why we need THE PRISON FARM…aka…THE SUSTAINABLE REHABILITATION CENTER.
There he (Chanko) can EARN HIS KEEP and CONTRIBUTE TO SOCIETY at NO COST TO us TAXPAYERS.
