$10,000 at stake in Duets

Shortly, the knockout competition of KTV Duets takes place live at the Bliss Center for the Performing Arts. Here is what will happen. Six duos competed last Tuesday in the first semi-final round.  The six will return to the Bliss tonight to hear the auditor’s report which will determine which four duos made it safely to tonight’s round.  The two sets of duos with the lowest number of votes will then take part in a Knockout Challenge, and that’s live on stage.  The judges will be scoring their performances based on Vocal Ability, which can get them a maximum fifty points, stage presence with thirty points and Clarity of Lyrics at twenty points.  The judges will give them the nod when they have heard enough of the song to complete their scoring. Of the two, the duo with the higher score from the judge’s gets to stay in the competition. So the duo to remain in the competition will be determined by the judges. Here’s a look at the six duos that will be on stage.

Don’t be disappointed; keep your phone handy to text your vote for your favorite couple. It’s all in your hands.

i wish that the judges will be mor kind to the participants, because these participants are not professionals, last night comments from the judges hurt me and n i belive that the participants are trying, and they all have feelings.

The last duo of Gabb and the other youngman that performed last really brought it on…they deserved the judge’s pick. I believe the Chacon’s came really strong with that original and they were my second favorite. Arlen and Jeanie did very good and as said by previous bloggers I would like to see them sing the same song (hook, rap, hook, rap) not separate songs as I have noticed in previous 2 shows. As for Don and Donna, they were definitely better last week and the Cayo guys, you are supposed to be getting better not worst. Remember that its time to separate the men from the little boys. Good luck to all. Voting for my favorites!
