…And more shootings

There are two other persons who were shot over the weekend in separate incidents and they have survived the incidents.  Eighteen year old Stephan Flowers was shot in the abdomen on Saturday night on Courtney Crescent. Flowers along with Ian Henkis, were riding on Mopan Street towards Sibun Street when they were approached from behind by two men on separate bicycles.  Several shots were fired in their direction when Flowers was injured to the left side of his abdomen. Flowers attempted to run but collapsed while scrambling through a nearby yard.  He was transported to the KHMH, where he remains in a stable condition. Police recovered a point forty-five pistol with an extended magazine found on Sarstoon Street.

In a separate shooting incident on Sunday, thirty one year old Geraldine Castillo was shot to the lower back and left ankle. Castillo was in bed in her mobile home in the Bainsville Area on the Western Highway when four gunshots were heard around eleven in the night. Hattieville police responded and observed a damaged fence and several pellets on the wall of the mobile home. So far, no arrests have been made and police investigations continue.
