Shop robbed in Burrell Boom

The first reported robbery for the New Year occurred in the Belize District. Fifty year old Alfonso PineIo reported to police that around three o’clock yesterday afternoon he was at his business named Seidy’s Shopping Centre in Burrell Boom Village when two men entered the store. Pinelo said he left the counter to fill an order for a spray paint that one of the men had ordered. However, when he returned, he noticed that the men now wore black warm caps over there faces and one was armed with a gun. They then demanded money and Pinelo said he handed over two thousand dollars, proceeds from the sale of phone cards. The robbers then escaped.
