Ladyville students attacked by bees

A school recess went from fun to scary this afternoon after students at Ladyville Evangelical School were attacked by bees. Reports reaching News Five are that someone disturbed a nest of Africanised bees on the compound at mile ten and a quarter on the Northern Highway, causing the insects to go into a frenzy. As a result some seventy students were stung. They were taken to the Ladyville Health Centre where they were treated with an antihistamine. Three of the children experienced more severe allergic reactions and had to be taken to the K.H.M.H. We understand that the nest will be removed tonight.
