16 year old Khadisha Saragosa still missing

Khadisha Saragosa

Fifteen days ago, sixteen year old Khadisha Saragosa went missing after leaving her boyfriend’s house. He claims he never saw her again and her family has been fed with numerous rumors about her whereabouts, but all leads have turned out empty. Today News Five spoke to her grandmother, Angelina Allen, who says they were last told that Khadisha was in Placencia. Police questioned a young lady, but that turned out to be another wild goose chase and they are still not sure if it was in fact Khadisha that was ever spotted. Allen told us today that she has also been getting strange phone calls.

“Last week we heard that she was in Placencia. One of our friends that lived down there called us and tell us that she was down there. I called our friend and he called me back and said he saw her. He reported to the police down there and the police went to the hotel where the little girl was and asked her where her boyfriend is. She told him that the boyfriend went out. Den ih ask ah how old ah and she said twenty-three. So I don’t understand. Maybe it’s not her, maybe it’s she I don’t know because it’s just rumors that we have heard. 00:54:43 The boy call me again and said that when the police leave the hotel the girl packed her things and went to another hotel. So that sounds funny to us because maybe it’s she because why she move? But I really don’t know.

My daughter is on the street every day, every day. When ih get here at my house about after five, minutes to six she look so tired. Ih seh ay mommy mi heart hurting me.  Every day as she wake up in the morning—I noh even know if ih drink tea and ih leave and go on the street looking. If they tell her I si your daughter this way, I si ah dis way she always deh round. But we noh si ah, we noh hear, we just get rumors and now what is happening I get some phone calls I noh know form who. The first one, we know the person is on the phone because I seh hello, hello, hello, no ansa and I put down the phone. The next one I get again I think dah bout three days ago. I seh hello, hello, hello. I hear the voice of a girl talking, and a boy talking but I can’t understand what they’re saying because they have music hard, hard playing.”

Again, I hope this child is still alive. Can the police department explain why the officer who went to the Placencia Hotel did not ask the young woman for identification or confirm who she was & take a picture of her to show this child’s family.

  2. Lisamarie says:

BZNinCALI the officer did not think to ask for identification because he/she doesn’t know what they are doing. It’s this kind of sloppy work that has them never being able to solve their cases. It’s a darn shame isn’t it?

  3. Eve says:

Yes unprofessional cop, why not tak a pic, or take her to the station or take some form of identity, for God sake it could be your daughter.

  4. Lindsay Howard says:

I don’t think you have to be TRAINED to ask for an ID if you’re trying to figure out who someone is I think you have to actually be trying to figure out who they are — and that’s that.

  5. Rosy2 says:

Mom, maybe your daughter is dead but i wish not. She told u her heart hurts then i think you should have taken her to see Doc.

she was sixteen and in a hotel with a boyfriend, accordingly. nothing is sure, at this point. its strange its seems most of the stories we read have some similarities.
so sad, its happening so much these days. that is why if u cant take care of your kids, dont have any. if u do, its your responsibility till 18 or as long as u possible could.
so many kids having kids then just suffering or end up like this young lady here. just so sad!!
