Man who killed his sister’s boyfriend convicted of manslaughter

A two year old trial in the murder of twenty-seven year old Robert Brown ended this afternoon in the Supreme Court before Justice Adolph Lucas. Brown bled to death after being stabbed once to chest by his girlfriend’s brother, Wyatt Anderson. That was on November twenty-second 2008 and today a jury of seven women and five men unanimously found Anderson guilty of the lesser charge of Manslaughter. During trial, Prosecutor Yohhahnseh Cave’s witnesses included Police Constable, Jerry McCullock, who testified that he saw the two men fighting on Curassow Street. McCullock said that as he approached, he heard Brown tell Anderson to let him go because he had been stabbed. But Anderson replied, “I noh wahn hear dat, yoh di mess wid my sista.” Brown then fell to the ground and McCullock sought assistance while Anderson left the area. In his defense, Anderson claimed that the altercation started after a friend told him that Brown threw Guinness on his sister. He approached Brown, who became confrontational and pulled out a knife. Anderson says he tried to pry the weapon away, but Brown didn’t let go until he was told that an approaching policeman would shoot him. Anderson also claimed that he was not aware that Brown had been injured in the struggle until he reached home. Sentencing has been reserved.

Good luck, because it’s no forgiveness in Belize or abroad. Everyone feel that you need to die also. Good luck, because with peoples thinking you are condemned. Its just a matter of time before you become on the other end of the stick. The only solution you have in Belize is to continue doing what you been doing, because it’s no forgiveness. Alot of people is living by an eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth. But the truth is that they need a Eye pluck out, and a tooth whop out. Because they are hypocrites. They around here acting like they have did nothing wrong in life. Alot of silly people feed on these senseless crimes, and are promoting it undercover. If people don’t believe in change Belize is going to be the same for the rest of our lives.
When the white man AKA Limey, tek back Belize alot of us will understand. Because Belize is full with murderers and thieving politician. That can’t be control by our own people. Because need a complete change. Maybe giving it back to Brition is the only solution. That we can come back and enjoy our Belize. I will love to see that day come when I can walk from Port Loyola to B.T.L park without being robbed or shot. I don’t see that vision anytime soon

murderes and thieving politician come in all shades. Belize have people of many backgrounds and if anyone have the knowledge it takes to do a better job and is an honest person who cares for all our country men then please step up and start a new party. We need a change so that the people can trust those in power. Until then parents please talk to your children about the value of life and respect for other people property and space.
