Japan gives Ministry of health a $6 Million injection boost

The health sector received a substantial boost from Japan.  The Ministry of Health was awarded a grant of six million dollars from the Japanese Social Development Fund. The funds are earmarked for a project on malnutrition in children under five years old.  It is also expected to encourage healthy lifestyles for children five years and older, as well as to upgrade public health facilities. The Toledo District will have special focus; E-health activities will be introduced, including the provision of internet communication links, connecting hospitals, polyclinics and satellite clinics within the district. While the Ministry of Health is the recipient of the grant, the Toledo District Health Council will be implementing the project.

You mean the Japanese. Their name was being tarnished in the Immigration scandal because some of the Chinese had fake Japanese passports, all they’re doing is making sure they too have keep their eyes on us. They have figured out that our officials are whores, they just need to know our price.

I don’t want to sound cynical but everytime people give belize some money I feel a little fear because I wonder what part of our country was sold to pad government pocket. Is there anything in this world that is for free? I don’t have anything against Japanese or Chinese people, but when you have corruption in government the people teeth is always on edge.
