No one charged for murder of Orange Walk senior citizen

paulo diaz

Orange Walk police have still not charged anyone in connection with Tuesday’s early morning murder of seventy year old Paulo “Julian” Diaz.  The watchman of San Isidro Construction Supplies was discovered murdered under a shed at his worksite sometime between one and two Tuesday morning when the alarm at the business tripped and alerted the owners.  Orange Walk police have removed from the scene a few objects that could have possibly been used to murder the elderly man, including a petroleum cylinder weighing more than a hundred pounds, which was discovered on Diaz’ body and a crowbar which the killer or killers left inside the store after it was used to break open the door.  The thieves stole energy saver bulbs worth over three hundred and twenty dollars but fled before they could remove more items when the alarm triggered.  Diaz had been working at the business for the past three years. A post mortem reveals that Diaz died from a fractured skull caused by trauma to the head by a blunt object.

How can these animals kill an old man? If they touch my family, I’m coming for them myself. RIP Mr. Paulo Diaz.

Every business in Belize be it big or small needs to invest in survellance cameras around their business. Condolences to the family.

Wonder if the Police will link anyone selling those bulbs with the crime. Probably not if they are priced low enough.

They aren’t animals – animals rarely kill for fun. They are just plain cowardly sub-human scum, and should be destroyed, like stray dogs.

I hope the police is smart enough to dust for fingerprints on the crowbar and the cylinder. This country needs to invest in its own AIFIS system and require everyone to get fingerprinted when they get their ID. I’m sick of criminals getting away with murder! This poor man was killed over $320 dollars! This is BS! RIP Mr. Diaz, if your murderer ever comes to trial and I’m a juror you can rest assured I will not let them get away with this $hit!

The Jewel is being tarnish by these senseless acts of murder.
