Xtra House employees disappear with monies

Story PictureTonight a businessman is reporting that his employees robbed him over forty thousand dollars in cash and goods. Owner of Xtra House on Cemetery Road, Jitendra Chawla, told News Five today that three employees hired as salesmen reportedly collected over forty thousand dollars in cash and cheques from customers in the Belize, Corozal, and Stann Creek Districts over a four-day period. The three have not been seen or heard from since July twenty-second. But that wasn’t enough for the men, as they also helped themselves to household appliances at the staff quarters at number two Amara Avenue. He discovered around two-thirty on the morning of July twenty-eighth that they had absconded through the back door of the three-storey building. His customers later confirmed his fears; that the men had collected thousands of dollars during transactions in the week. And according to Chawla, this amount of forty thousand can easily increase when investigations are completed. Chawla is now offering a reward of five thousand dollars for any information leading to the arrest of Sunil Manwani, Yogesh Lalwani and Dinesh Dasani. If you know the whereabouts of the suspects you may call 620-6858.
