Steve Parks succumbs to gunshot wound to the head

Steve Parks

We reported in Thursday’s newscast that twenty-five year old Steve Parks was hospitalized after being shot in the head as he purchased food on Wednesday night. Parks’ sister, Pamela Baird, told News Five that he was clinging to life and had a thirty percent chance of survival, but he needed blood. His fight ended exactly twenty-four hours after the shooting and he passed away at around nine o’clock on Thursday night. Police have upgraded the investigation to murder.

these murders will never stop until the hanging penalty is brought back we must demand this people demand not ask anymore but demand that the hanging penalty is brought back you better bring this law back barrow and by the way why is there no investigation of barrows friend that was shot why is the media not following up on this investigation could it be that they may find out that this lawyer was involved in bribery or some other criminal activity you would think that this investigation would be over by now he being the pm best friend so that tells me they do not want to do any investigation into this crime because it might implicate this lawyer in criminal activity.

At five thirty that same evening I had a conversation with Steve and another of my coworkers concerning the hours they would be leaving from work and the last thing Steve told me is “if they want to catch me they have to be riding as fast as I do because when I get on my bicycle it is with speed that I ride and I don’t stop until I get home”. The three of us talked seriously about the crime rate in Belize and also we had our laughs when Steve described his mode of getting home. Who knew that would be the last time I would ever get to speak with Steve. If only he had followed his usual routine he would probably still be here with us. It might seem like business as usual at work but all of us that worked close to him are missing him like never before. My condolence to his family.
Steve may be gone from this earth but he will always be with us. Rest in Peace!
