Last week Monday thirty-five year old Ernesto Perez was shot by two gunmen as he sat inside a taxi at the corner of Rivero and Fairweather Streets. He had just gone to purchase meat for someone when his attackers pounced on him.  Perez was shot in the left side of the face and upper back and clung to life for over a week.  But that battle was lost at two-thirty-five this morning when he succumbed to his injuries at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. it’s a big loss for the family and News Five spoke off camera today with Perez’ brother, Wilfred Laing, about his last days.

My condolences and sympathy to Mr. Perez’s family……..It’s sad to witness Belize going down the drain with the senseless murders occurring so often….the black on black crime is something occurring all over the world…. MOST OF US ARE OUR WORSE ENEMY, COMMITTING GENOCIDE. WE NEED TO STOP THE HATING WE SEEM TO HAVE FOR EACH OTHER!!!!

Good point about black on black crime. Black people all over the world need to comprehend that by uniting as one people they will empower themselves to survive against the oppression they face in this world.

The point about the pm constantly leaving bze appears to be true. Some of these trips are important, but it appears the cost is not a worry to the pm, because all expenses are billed to the struggling budget of the bze government.
