Tek It or Leave It jackpot surges to $10,000

Story PictureA new episode of Channel Five’s game show, Tek It or Leave It, will be recorded at the Bliss, Wednesday night at eight-thirty. And with Christmas just around the corner, the ante is up and the new player will have the chance to take home ten thousand dollars. Yes, you heard right, ten thousand dollars.

That’s tomorrow night but last week, adrenalin was flowing and the excitement at the Bliss was hard to contain. The third contestant selected from a studio audience was Shermaine Zetina, who played to win the five thousand dollars cash. Zetina boosted by the support of the audience and her family, walked away with her wish for the Christmas holidays. Here’s what she had to say about playing the game.

Shermaine Zetina, Winner, Tek it or Leave It
“At the beginning, I felt excited. I thought I was going to win the five thousand but when I saw the big numbers started to drop, then I said oh my I was disappointed, but at the end, it wasn’t disappointing for me. I got some great consolation prizes.”

Duane Moody
“What advice would you give anyone that would go through the process, you know the upcoming players?”

Shermaine Zetina
“Well, my advice would be to first thank God and ask him to guide you, because it’s just luck, it’s just luck. You know, you can’t say you’re going up there and pick a number; it’s just your luck for the night and be happy for what you won.”

Last Thursday’s episode airs tonight at eight right here on Channel Five. Tune in to see the prize winnings that Zetina took home.
Tickets for tomorrow’s show are available right here at Channel Five or at the Bliss Box Office for only five dollars. Remember that once you are a member of the live audience you stand a chance to take home thousands in cash as the next player in Tek It or Leave It.
