Another Minor Brought in For Denver Montero’s Murder

Denver Montero

Another suspect has been brought in for the murder of twenty-six-year-old Denver Montero. This time, it was a seventeen-year-old minor. Back in April, Denver Montero was killed in a robbery at Gracie Rock village, where he was shot and then chopped to death.  Ryan Kerr, who was also shot during the incident, was able to flee the scene and receive medical attention at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. Two other suspects were previously arraigned. The first to be arraigned in April was thirty-five-year-old Tyrone Devon Young. He was followed by a sixteen-year-old minor who was recently arraigned just this Monday. After the shooting, police were able to intercept a minivan containing the suspected offenders. Up to twelve people were found inside the vehicle, five of which were minors. As two of the suspects in police custody are minors, their faces and names have not been disclosed to the public. The seventeen-year-old was brought before the lower court today and in the presence of his attorney, Ronnell Gonzalez, was read the three of charges of murder, attempted murder, and use of deadly means of harm. Due to the nature of the offenses, no plea was taken from the suspects and the minors were remanded to the Wagner’s Youth Facility located on the compound of Belize Central Prison
