“One Alexander Montero of Teakettle Village was found suffering from cut wounds to the top of his head, the left side and cut wounds over the left eye and a cut wound on his left forearm. The investigation reveals so far that Mister Montero of Teakettle Village and others were at a bar in Teakettle Village and there was an altercation with Mister Santiago Reyes. At about three a.m. the same morning Mister Reyes was detained and Mister Montero remained in the hospital and I understand that he will be released today, Monday. The doctor certified the injuries as Grievous Harm. So as it is Mister Reyes appeared in the Belmopan Magistrates’ Court this afternoon and he has been charged with Grievous Harm and Use of Deadly Means of Harm.”
