Student’s skull cracked with T-square during school fight

Story PictureAnd a brawl between two teenage boys at their high school compound has landed one in the hospital. The minors, whose names are being withheld, were on recess around ten-thirty this morning at the newly renamed Maud Williams High School, formerly Saint Michael’s College on Dolphin Street when the confrontation turned violent. One of the fourteen year old students used a T-Square, used in drafting, to hit the other teen in the head. The T-Square penetrated the youth’s skull and lodged in his brain, leaving him in a critical condition. Police are awaiting a classification of the injury by doctors before they proceed with any charges. The perpetrator, meanwhile is in police custody pending charges.
