Homeless Man Set Free from Burglary Charges
A homeless man was acquitted of two counts of burglary when he appeared before Senior Magistrate Baja Shoman today. Forty-nine-year-old Denroy Wagner was accused of burglarizing It Store’s warehouse twice in June 2022. Wagner who has been on remand since June twenty-first of last year, was taken to court this morning where the operations manager for the business took the stand and testified that after consultations with the owners of the store, they have decided to withdraw the charges from the accused. With that, the court prosecutor offered no further evidence against Wagner and Senior Magistrate Shoman proceeded to dismiss the charges against the vagrant who had been imprisoned for eleven months.
