A Peace March in Honor of William Dawson

William Dawson,  the venerable head of the Leadership Intervention Unit, passed away from health complications in late January.  Since then, the Ministry of Home Affairs has yet to name a successor to interface with the Government of Belize and various inner city groups.  Late this afternoon, a peace march was held through the streets of Belize City in honor of the late Dawson.  His work with brokering ceasefire among feuding gangs has been exemplary.  Here are the highlights from today’s procession which also included the participation of ComPol Chester Williams.
