“Let me thank Lithuania, the government you represent, for their generosity. You know that one of the things that we are totally satisfied is that there was no loss of life in the passage of Hurricane Lisa, but certainly more than five thousand families were affected – lost their homes, their homes were damaged – and so the relief, the assistance that Lithuania is giving to us right now is very important to assist these families. A lot of them still need more assistance to get back on their feet and it is critical for all our partners, for all our allies, for all our friends overseas to help us.”

“We continue to try to assist however we can. We saw the damage that Hurricane Lisa did to Belize and for that reason the diplomatic corps in Lithuania was very interested in trying to assist. And so we worked on that and this is just one of the many ventures that we will be continuously working with the government.”
