A New Integrity Commission is Sworn-in Under Briceño Administration

A new Integrity Commission has been sworn into office, several months after a motion was passed in the National Assembly for the appointment of its members.  On Wednesday, at Belize House, in Belmopan, seven persons, including Chairman Andrea McSweaney McKoy, George Swift, Zoe Roberson-Zetina, Ricardo Moguel, Katherine Meighan, Payal Ghanwani and Jaraad Ysaguirre were administered the oath of office before Governor General Froyla Tzalam.  The swearing-in was in accordance with Section Three-two and one of the Prevention of Corruption Act Chapter 105 of the Laws of Belize.  The members will serve in this capacity for a period of two years.
