Sixteen Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence Begins Today

We keep hearing of nerve-racking incidents of violence within the home or between spouses that sometimes end up fatal. It all seems to be a never-ending cycle of abuse that gets dragged before the courts. At the centre of many of these scenarios are children who are either the victims of the atrocity or are firsthand witnesses of it. But if there is any hope of at least containing the number of cases, there must be some effort to doing so. And that’s where the Sixteen Days of Activism plays a role.
